It was a real pleasure to have been a High Grosvenor Wedding Videographer for Martyn and Ann. Captured at High Grosvenor in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
A little more about their wedding
After 18 years of engagement this lovely couple tied the knot. It was a truly wonderful day shared with life-long family and friends and High Grosvenor was the perfect location for their wedding. Set in the Shropshire countryside.
Firstly the day began at High Grosvenor. Here Ann and her bridal party prepared and pampered themselves ready for the day ahead. A very relaxed morning with time for a little sing song while they awaited Ann’s brother and their transport to take them over to All Saints Church, Claverley.
Meanwhile, Martyn readied himself at their home alongside family and friends. Again a lovely relaxed morning. When the time came to leave for the church it decided to rain but Martyn came prepared with umbrellas and along with the family, they all walked around to the church.
Shortly after Martyn’s arrival came Ann’s. With a passion for horses Ann chose a traditional form of transport and this was a gorgeous horse and carriage. In one word – fabulous! Then they went on to make their vows at . A lovely little church and the ceremony was beautifully led.
As they exited the church guests covered them in a flutter of confetti before heading over High Grosvenor to continue with the celebrations.
When they arrived at High Grosvenor they were greeted with an abundance of canapes and bubbly. Another passion of Martyn and Ann’s is cycling and it was lovely to see how this had been included in their day with the table plan and place names.
Following this their wedding breakfast they opted for an afternoon tea. All of the guests enjoyed the great selection of sweet and savory food provided by Fresh and Lush.
Soon after the breakfast was over it was time for speeches. Ann’s brother made a beautiful speech in placement of her father – most of which can be heard in their highlights video above. In brief it’s safe to say there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!
The evening soon came around and the DJ had his set ready. My oh my did they have skills on the dance floor and their guests too! Needless to say the celebrations continued late in to the evening.
It may have taken 18 years to wed but it is so very clear they are meant to be together!
