It was such a pleasure to have been a Gorcott Hall Wedding Videographer for Dean and Lucy. Captured at Gorcott Hall in Redditch, Worcestershire.
It was also a joy to work along side Michelle from Silver Star Photographic again on this wedding!
Preps
Lucy’s bridal prep took place in Gorcott Hall’s stunning new bridal suite, joined by her mum and maids. The morning was very relaxing as everyone was pampered with hair and make-up while sipping on bubbles and eating cake. What better way to start the day?!
Dean Readied himself at their home with his groomsmen. Parked out front was a Lamborghini they had hired to transport him to the church and soon to be joined by his beautiful wife to head over to Gorcott Hall.
Ceremony
Following preps, they each made their way to St Leonards Church, Beoley. Dean in his Lamborghini and Lucy joined by her maids in a Rolls Royce. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side in the morning but nothing that couldn’t be solved with a couple of white umbrellas.
The ceremony itself was beautifully led and the everyone raised the roof with their singing.
Reception
On arrival back at Gorcott Hall the sun came out and shone down on us all while canopies and fizz were enjoyed in the beautiful gardens.
As an August wedding we were graced with a longer day which meant we could go out for two sets of couple shots. During the reception in the afternoon we stayed close the the Hall. Then later in the evening as the light began to change we took them over to the field opposite for some lovely evening shots and a little bit of alone time after entertaining everyone all day.
Next, it was speech time and what a great bunch of speeches they were. Lucy’s dad made a lovely little video with a selection of photos of her growing up and some of their adventures together. Then we heard all about how Dean wooed Lucy on their first date over takeaway in the car.
Evening
To end the day the DJ played their first dance and they were soon joined on the dancefloor to the likes of the Cha Cha Slide and the Macorina.
